Film ratings

There are 5 main rating categories U, PG, 12A, 15 and 18. 

We have decided on a 15 rating. The reasons for this is that at 15 there can be strong threat and horror as long as there is no sustained focus on sadistic or sexualised threat. 

Can violence be used?

Yes, at 15 violence may be strong. It should not dwell on the infliction of pain or injury, however, and the strongest gory images are unlikely to be acceptable.

Strong sadistic violence is also unlikely to be acceptable.

Our film fits into this category well so we have decided to use this one.
